Guelph Skating Club is Golden in Thornhill

 

GUELPH SKATING CLUB TAKES MEDALS IN THORNHILL

Congratulations go out to 40 members of the Guelph Figure Skating Club who represented the city

at a skating competition in Thornhill, April 17^th to 19^th, 2009. The skaters ranged in age from 5 to 45

and competed in events that required singles, pairs and fours. The Guelph club had some parents

and coaches out on the ice and in the competition. The Guelph skaters came home with 7 GOLD

medals, 8 SILVER medals, 20 BRONZE  medals and the entire Club was ranked 8^th out of more

than 100 Clubs that participated in this 3 day competition. A great time was had by everyone who

participated and the Guelph Figure Skating Club is very proud of those skaters who represented the

Club so well.
