Session 2 start date delayed

As many of you have already heard, the provincial government declared a state of emergency effective at 12:01am Jan. 14 which includes a stay-at-home order for at least 28 days.  As part of this shutdown all arenas are closed until at least Feb. 11.

For those of you who have already registered for Session 2, your spots have been held and invoices will be adjusted accordingly once we receive a confirmed start date.

We will continue to monitor the situation and communicate updates as we receive them.

The GSC is excited to announce that online registration for the Winter 2 session has opened!

The GSC has worked with both the City of Guelph and Skate Ontario to ensure that we are offering quality instruction while providing safety for our skaters and coaches.

There are a few program changes to note -

  • The PreCanSkate program will not be offered as we are unable to offer hands on instruction.

  • The CanSkate program will be limited to those that have completed Stage 1 and higher, again due to the “no hands on” restriction.

  • Maximum number of individuals on the ice will depend on what the current Level of restrictions are at the start of the session.
