The Guelph Skating Club is proud to offer our 30 minute entry-level program, PreCanSkate, specially designed for beginners. By creating a positive and inclusive environment, we aim to build your child's confidence on the ice and foster a love of skating that can last a lifetime.
In the PreCanSkate program, children will be placed into groups based on their abilities. Our Skate Canada Professional Coaches, who have extensive experience and knowledge, will lead the classes and will be assisted by our dedicated and qualified volunteer Program Assistants. Together, they will create a nurturing environment where the focus is on making learning to skate a playful and fun experience for your child. Our instructors use a play based model that will touch on the basic concepts of standing and balancing, to learning to move both forwards and backwards on the ice.
