Our CanSkate Program, considered a cut above the rest, showcases our dedication to providing the highest level of instruction and support to our skaters. Going beyond the standard requirements, we strive to offer an outstanding program that ensures our participants' progress and enjoyment on the ice.

The CanSkate program is perfect start for beginners aged 5+ who want to learn how to skate. Whether their interest lies in figure skating, hockey, ringette, or speed skating, this program offers a solid foundation. Skaters are grouped based on skill, and will acquire forward and backward skating, stopping, and turning, as they earn badges and ribbons to mark their progress.

Skaters will receive formal evaluations at the end of the session, which provides feedback to help understand their strengths and areas for improvement. Once the skaters advance through various stages of the CanSkate program, they may transition to other programs such as Figure Skating Fundamentals, StarSkate (figure skating), and Adult Skating programs. The sky is the limit!

Safety is of utmost importance, and all participants in the CanSkate program must wear CSA approved helmets during their sessions. This requirement ensures that skaters can enjoy the program in a safe and secure manner.
